The Wingate Foundation
Overview
The Harold Hyam Wingate Foundation considers applications for grants for Charitable Organisations.
Applications for grants for individuals will not be considered by the Trustees. Individuals (over the age of 24) may be eligible for Wingate Scholarships which are awarded annually by competition.
Wingate Scholarships can be found at www.wingatescholarships.org.uk and cannot be contacted via the Foundation.
Applications by organisations which award scholarships or bursaries are eligible and will be considered.
The date of the next Trustee Meeting is
Thursday September 18, 2008.
Applications for consideration at that meeting must be submitted by
Thursday September 4, 2008, with the exception of applications for Medical Research Travel Grants which must be submitted by Monday September 1, 2008
Consideration will be given to new applications from organisations which the Foundation has traditionally supported in the past, but such applications for renewed support will be considered in the light of the criteria mentioned below.
All applications will be acknowledged but we are unable to write to all applicants again. Therefore, if you have not heard further from us by Friday, October 3rd, 2008, your application has unfortunately not been successful.
